COMMUNITY

We are a proud member of the Newberg and surrounding Yamhill County community. We do our best to support the development of our community in a progressive and sustainable manner.

Most recently Del Boca Vista has supported: the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, the American Red Cross, The American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America, the St. Paul Rodeo, Newberg Brew’s and BBQ’s (Chamber of Commerce), the Newberg Police Department, Relay for Life of Yamhill County, the Newberg High School Booster Club, the Newberg Old Fashioned Festival, the Newberg Rotary Club, Helping Hands Benefit, Veteran of Foreign Wars, the Oregon High School Rodeo Association, the Northwest High School Rodeo Club, Newberg High School Football, Newberg Youth Cheer, and the Newberg Dundee Police Foundation.

YCAP is one of the social service agencies that assist the residents of Yamhill County.  They focus mainly on four primary service categories: Client services and housing, energy services, the regional food bank, and youth services.

Newberg High is ranked in the top tier of public high schools. Newberg was the only school to be ranked in Yamhill County by U.S. News and their partner School Evaluation Services.

Since 1967, Chehalem Park & Recreation provides their community with parks, recreation, open space, natural resources and educational opportunities.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue provides fire protection and emergency medical services to approximately 530,446 residents in one of the fastest growing regions in Oregon. There 390-square-mile service area includes the cities of Beaverton, Durham, King City, Newberg, North Plains, Rivergrove, Sherwood, Tigard, Tualatin, West Linn, and Wilsonville, and unincorporated portions of Clackamas, Multnomah, Washington, and Yamhill counties.
